Local Governing Body Information

Parent Governors

Parent Governors are elected by parents of registered students at the Academy. They must have parental responsibility for a student at the Academy at the time of their election.

Staff Governors

Staff Governors are nominated and elected by their colleagues.

Co-opted / Community Governors

Co-opted / Community Governors are appointed by members of the existing governing body following an interview. Co-opted / Community Governors are individuals from the community with skill sets and experience required by the governing body, e.g. finance, HR, legal.

The Local Governing Board meet at least once per term.
