It’s National Share a Story Month!

Organised by the Federation of Children’s Book Groups, this annual celebration highlights the magic of children’s fiction and the joy of sharing stories. We’re delighted it’s part of the National Year of Reading this year!

The 2026 theme, Once Upon a Storytime, celebrates reading aloud and the power of stories to bring people together. Throughout May, children, families, schools, and communities are invited to connect through books, storytelling, and the spoken word.
