Welcome to our dedicated Year 11 page where we will post all updates as we move through the year.
Summer 2024 - Exams
Year 11 will sit exams during W/B 6th May. A full timetable can be found here.
Students have now also received their individual exam timetable, which shows the room each exam is in, and, if in the main hall, the student's seat number for each exam.
Individual exam timetables may also now be accessed by students and parents via Edulink.
If students or their parents/carers have any queries regarding their exam timetable, please contact Mrs Charles, the Exams Officer, as soon as possible.
GCSE practical assessments and speaking tests are also taking place over the coming weeks - assessment dates can be found here.

Please note that students MUST remain available and able to come into school up to and including Wed 26 June (JCQ contingency day), should any exams be re-scheduled by the awarding body.

What should I do if I there are two or more sessions running at the time, that I want to attend?
Naturally, with any after-school revision programme, there will be some clashes. There are more subjects than there are days of the week, so some clashes are inevitable. We will not put pressure on students to attend particular subjects, but will help them select where their time would be best spent. Usually, the best method is to try to create a sense of breadth across revision, by attending sessions on a rotational basis. Do keep in mind though that students should try to prioritise where there are gaps in learning, and attend those sessions. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Miss Truslove or Mr Cannon who will be happy to help.
